UP: Wife allegedly uses cobweb to take husband's life, police concerned over motive

Heartbreaking news has come out from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Here, a woman murdered her husband by beating him with a mortar. Not only this, but the woman herself called the police and said that she had killed her husband. Police reached the spot after receiving the information and took the woman into custody. Illicit relations have been said to be the reason for the incident.

This case is of Vaishali Enclave of Indiranagar police station of the capital Delhi. Surendra Shah lived here with his wife Rekha Shah. Rekha suspected that her husband Surendra was having an illicit relationship with a woman. There had been conflict in the house many times before regarding this. It has been told by the police that late on Tuesday night there was a dispute between Rekha and Surendra regarding this matter. Soon this matter escalated.

He was hit so much that he died on the spot

Rekha attacked her husband with a cloth kept in the kitchen. Attacked several times, one after the other. The seriously injured husband died on the spot. After this, Rekha herself called the police from her phone. She told the police that she had murdered her husband. This information created panic in the police department. The police reached the spot in a hurry.

Police arrested the woman

The police took possession of Surendra's body lying on the spot and sent it for a post-mortem. Also called forensics to the spot. DCP North Abhijeet R. Shankar said that a case has been registered against Rekha on the complaint of Pooja Shah in the family. He is being detained and interrogated. Also, talks are being held with family members.
