Starbucks, the famous coffee chain, has made its debut in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi, defying doubts about its success in smaller Indian cities. A video is going viral across social media, showing massive crowds outside the outlet. People can be seen eagerly waiting in long queues, with many even arriving on two-wheelers. Inside, the cafe is bustling with customers, showcasing its instant appeal.

The video, shared by user Aaraynsh, sparked discussions online. Some users expressed surprise at the unexpected turnout, while others predicted its long-term success. Despite initial skepticism, many believe that Starbucks will thrive in Varanasi due to its status and social media influence. Earlier, people speculated that pocket-friendly middle-class people would not be interested in high-end coffee outlets.

The store's grand, royal-themed design has also impressed internet users, with many praising its architecture and elegant ambiance. The outlet, housed in a restored old structure, opened its doors on March 22, showcasing Starbucks' commitment to aesthetic appeal and cultural integration.

Starbucks India's expansion

Starbucks India, a joint venture between Tata Global Beverages and Starbucks Coffee Company, continues to expand its presence across the country, with outlets in 30 cities. The overwhelming response to the Varanasi outlet reflects the growing demand for high-quality coffee experiences in diverse Indian markets.
