Maharashtra: Madrasa student brutally beaten by Maulvi and Peers over watch theft suspicions

A shocking case has come to light in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. A brutal beating of a madrassa student has come to light here. According to reports, the student was accused of stealing a watch from a nearby shop. In the CCTV footage installed near the shop, the student was seen stealing the watch, after which the Maulvi of the madrassa first stripped the student semi-nude and beat him up. Then the student's friends made him spit on his body and also beat him.

The incident is said to have happened on February 4, but now the matter has come to light after the video went viral. It is being told that the incident took place in a madrasa in Khultabad area of ​​Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. After getting information about the incident, the family of the victim student has lodged a complaint against the Maulvi of the Madrasa with the local police.

The incident took place at Jamia Burhanul Uloom Madrasa

The victim student is said to be a resident of Surat. According to media reports, the student was admitted to Jamia Burhanul Uloom Madrasa. The shopkeeper had lodged a complaint after getting information about the watch being stolen from the shop. During the investigation, the stolen goods were recovered. 

However, the matter became serious when the situation took a serious turn when the madrasa's cleric, Maulana Syed Umar Ali, severely beat up the student who had stolen the watch. The Maulvi first made the student semi-nude and beat him himself, and then made other students of the Madrasa not only beat the student who had stolen the watch but also make them spit on his body.

The incident of the beating of the student was also captured on his mobile by a student present at the spot. Now the video of the student's beating went viral, which was also seen by the victim's family. The family of the victim student has filed a case against the Maulvi. It is being said that the other students who beat the student have been explained.
