In his comeback match following back surgery in October, Australian star all-rounder Cameron Green made a dazzling hundred. He made a century for English county side Gloucestershire. In this match being played in Canterbury, he made the century off 171 balls, but thereafter had to leave the field in cramps. However, after the day's play, Green confirmed that after a good night's sleep and a brief meal, he would be able to continue his innings on the second day.
Cameron Green is only the 10th player to score a century in first-class cricket on debut for Gloucestershire. When he came out to bat, his team had lost 3 wickets for 41 runs. Following this, Cameron Green led the team's innings and also got runs. Cameron Green was a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in the previous season of IPL. But due to his injury, RCB chose not to retain him. He was previously a member of Mumbai Indians. But he was traded from Mumbai Indians to Royal Challengers Bangalore before the 2024 auction. For which RCB spent Rs 17.5 crore.
