The weather has suddenly changed in Delhi-NCR. It has been raining lightly since this morning. According to IMD, there may be rain and thunder in Delhi-NCR today, i.e., on Saturday. Along with heavy rain, winds at a speed of 30–40 km per hour are also expected. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding rain in Delhi-NCR.
The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of hailstorms at some places. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain and thunderstorms in some areas of Haryana, UP, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. After the rain, it is obvious that the cold will increase a little. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain in the mountains due to the weakening of the Western Disturbance. With the onset of heat over South Peninsular India in March, maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be above normal in the region during this month, with heat wave conditions likely over parts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and adjoining Karnataka.

According to the Meteorological Department, many areas of Delhi will remain cloudy today. Apart from this, there may be rain in many areas of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. The IMD's forecast for the weather states that from March to May, maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be above normal in most parts of the country.

Heavy snowfall is occurring at many places in Kashmir.
