Tragic accident in Kalaburagi: 5 killed, including 13-year-old girl, as minibus crashes into parked truck

A devastating accident occurred at dawn on Saturday morning in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, when a devotee bus rammed into an on-standby lorry and killed five individuals, one of them a 13-year-old girl. The victims were all from Bagalkote and were going on a pilgrimage to a dargah in Kalaburagi when the accident took place.The minibus struck the back of the lorry, which was parked on the road because of a blown tyre.
Driver Abandons Vehicle, Manhunt Launched
The driver of the mini bus left the vehicle and escaped after the crash. Police started a manhunt for the driver to arrest him and have opened a case.

Injured receiving treatment
Some commuters were injured in the accident and are being given treatment at a local hospital. Police are evaluating the extent of injuries caused. Kalaburagi police are investigating into the reason for the accident and attempting to analyze the reason behind the collision.
