Bandra Station stampede: A tragic stampede broke out on Platform No. 1 at Bandra Terminus early Sunday morning, leaving nine passengers injured, with two in critical condition. The incident occurred around 5:56 a.m. as a large crowd gathered to board the Bandra-Gorakhpur Express, scheduled for a 5:10 a.m. departure.

The overwhelming rush of passengers caused panic on the crowded platform, which quickly escalated into a chaotic stampede. In videos taken shortly after the stampede, police and railway staff were seen assisting and carrying the injured to receive medical treatment.
