Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has intensified his criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP government, alleging rampant lawlessness under their rule. He claimed that the ruling party was misleading the public while ignoring real issues like unemployment and farmer distress. Yadav’s remarks come amid heightened political tensions as parties gear up for the crucial 2025 elections.

SP chief attacks BJP over law and order

Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav has launched a fierce attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing them of turning Uttar Pradesh into a "jungle raj." He claimed that under BJP’s rule, law and order have collapsed, with rising crime and injustice dominating the state.

"BJP misleading the public"

Addressing a public rally, Yadav accused the BJP of diverting attention from real issues like unemployment, inflation, and farmer distress. "Instead of working for the people, the BJP is busy spreading lies. The common man is suffering while the ruling party focuses on propaganda," he said. With the 2025 elections approaching, Akhilesh Yadav reaffirmed that his party will fight against BJP’s "misgovernance" and bring back policies that benefit the people. He highlighted SP’s past achievements in education, employment, and social welfare, urging voters to "choose development over division."

BJP dismisses allegations

In response, BJP leaders dismissed Yadav’s accusations, claiming that the law and order situation has significantly improved under their leadership. "Akhilesh Yadav is making baseless claims out of political desperation," said a BJP spokesperson.
