"Thackeray called me twice to ask his son Aaditya not to be named in the Disha Salian case. Milind Narvekar (Shiv Sena-UBT leader) called me once and Thackeray himself talked to me on the phone. He told me we need not involve each other's children in our politics," Rane informed the media. He said the second call was when he had asked Thackeray for a nod for his medical College in Sindhudurg. Leader Aaditya Thackeray
Reacting to Rane's charges, Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray stated, "I have not been listening to such garbage for the past 16 years. These individuals are being paid to make filthy charges against me. They had charged my father, my family and the party. They quit the party nearly 20 years ago but they have still not moved on. Let them speak as much as they wish."
