2. Developing open-source AI systems to enhance trust and transparency.
3. Building high-quality, bias-free data sets to train ethical AI.
4. Democratizing AI for people-centric applications.
5. Tackling cybersecurity threats, disinformation, and deepfakes.
6. Call for a Unified Global AI Governance Framework

As AI advances at breakneck speed, Modi urged world leaders to set global AI standards to safeguard ethical usage and prevent misuse. "AI's evolution knows no borders. A collective governance model is crucial to mitigate risks and ensure its responsible deployment," he said.

Job loss fears? Modi’s solution

Addressing concerns over AI-induced job losses, Modi dismissed fears of mass unemployment, citing history as proof that technology reshapes jobs rather than erasing them. He called for massive investments in upskilling and reskilling programs to prepare workers for the AI-driven future.
Following his Paris address, PM Modi will head to Washington, D.C., for a crucial two-day visit with US President Donald Trump. This will be their first meeting since Trump’s re-election, signaling a potential new phase in India-US relations.
