New Electoral election? Amit Shah hints at seat expansion of Southern states
Tamil Nadu: Home Minister Amit Shah has asserted that the southern states will not lose a single seat in Parliamentary seat on the account of delimitation.

Tamil Nadu: Home Minister Amit Shah has assured Southern states that won't lose any seats in Parliament on account of delimitation. His comment has come a day after MK Stalin the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu announced an all- party meeting in the state for a political consensus on delimitation exercise of Center. he said that it is like a sword which is hanging over the head of South part of India.
Amit Shah's promise to South
Honorable Home Minister headed to Tiruvannamalai, Coimbatore and Ramanathpuram for inauguration of BJP party offices. While addressing the party workers he said that a meeting would be held to ensure that South will not be suffering anymore because of delimitation. The people of Tamil Nadu is disturbed and that is why the CM of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin and his son Udayanidhi Stalin are trying to distract common public. Mr Stalin, The Modi government had made it clear in the Lok Sabha that after the application of delimitaion, not even a single seat will be reduced in any Southern state. Amit Shah assured people of South India that Modi Ji has kept their interest in mind to make sure that not even a seat is reduced pro rata. If there is any increase then South will get equal and fair share, there is no doubt.
False claims about delimitation
With these statements, the Home Minister was seeking to refute MK Stalin's allegations who had said that owing to the delimitation exercise of the Center, Tamil Nadu stands to lose 8 out of its 39 Lok Sabha constituencies, standing at a worrisome 31. This brings about fears of loss of representation and rights for Tamil Nadu. The Home Minister went over to mock Stalin of being deceitful to the educated Tamils and hiding his failure. He said, “You have lied to Tamil people thinking you can get away with making false claims about delimitation. I need your answer, why are you portraying such false accusations?”
2G scam as primary blame
Chuckling in reference to delimitation, Shah took the chance to insult the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) government in Tamil Nadu on the grounds of corruption, law and order, and governance. He attributed their money laundering, sand-mining, and many other 2G scam as primary blame. He said, "They are one of the master’s degrees holder of the DMK is one party with a different lord over the entire nation having a doctor's degree level in glaring over brain behind what is so called civilization for all other remaining states which claim to be filtered. "
