Nepal Earthquake: 6.1- magnitude earthquake strikes near Kathmandu, tremours felt in Bihar

The German Research Centre for Geosciences measured it at 5.6, while India's NCS recorded it at 5.5. According to seismologists, an earthquake of 6.1 magnitude is quite powerful, which can cause damage to buildings and pose a risk to life and property.

Panic in Nepal, tremors felt in Patna as well

A senior Nepalese official, Ganesh Nepali, told Reuters, This earthquake took away our sleep. Out of fear, we all rushed out of our homes. However, there have been no reports of any serious damage so far. It is worth mentioning that tremors were also felt in Patna.  One X user wrote that the tremors lasted for about 35 seconds.Everything was shaking, but no damage has been reported."
