He met with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar and Fijian Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka, focusing on regional security and bilateral cooperation.

In his discussion with Gideon Sa'ar, Minister Jaishankar addressed the ongoing developments in West Asia, particularly the Israel-Palestine conflict. He emphasized the necessity for a "permanent and long-term fix" to prevent recurrences of violence, advocating for a two-state solution as a viable path to peace. Jaishankar also highlighted the importance of Israel being mindful of civilian casualties in its operations and called for the establishment of a sustainable humanitarian corridor to provide relief to affected populations. Both ministers expressed a commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between India and Israel.
Meeting with Fijian Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka
During his meeting with Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka, Minister Jaishankar discussed avenues to enhance cooperation between India and Fiji. They reviewed the robust partnership encompassing various sectors such as health, education, agriculture, and renewable energy. A significant outcome of their dialogue was the signing of a visa waiver agreement, facilitating easier travel for diplomatic and official passport holders between the two nations. Prime Minister Rabuka acknowledged India's support during challenging times, including the provision of life-saving vaccines and humanitarian assistance, and reaffirmed the special and trusted friendship between the two countries.These engagements underscore India's proactive role in addressing global security challenges and its dedication to fostering strong bilateral ties with nations worldwide.
