There were three incidents involving the Sikh community in Pakistan. A Sikh family was attacked in one incident. Another Sikh family was threatened due to the re-opening of an old Gurdwara. There was also abduction and conversion against one girl of that community," he said. Referring to the violations of the Ahmadiyya and Christian communities in the Islamic nation, EAM Jaishankar stated, "There were two cases against the Ahmadiyya community. In one case, a mosque was sealed, and in another case, 40 graves were violated. There was also one case against a Christian person, who was said to be mentally deranged, and was charged with blasphemy." Highlighting India's reaction on international platforms, the EAM remembered two recent examples where Indian officials severely criticized Pakistan's human rights record.
