New Delhi: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam( DMK) MP Kanimozhi on Monday moved a honor notice against Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan seeking action against him for" breach of Administrative honor". This came after Pradhan made a controversial comment on DMK MPs in Lok Sabha and indicted the Tamil Nadu government of taking a volte-face on PM SHRI scheme during a discussion on National Education Policy.

PM- SHRI scheme

Kanimozhi, in her notice, has called the blameworthiness" factually incorrect" and indicted Pradhan of" misleading the House"." The Hon'ble Minister claimed that the Tamil Nadu Government had originally agreed to subscribe a Memorandum of Understanding( MoU) with the Government of India for accepting the PM- SHRI scheme but latterly took a volte-face, which is factually incorrect, misleading the house and against sanctioned records," she said.

Hon'ble Minister used intemperate reflections

Regarding the controversial comment, which was latterly taken back by Pradhan, Kanimozhi said," The Hon'ble Minister used intemperate reflections similar as' mislead,'' dishonest,'' undemocratic,' and' uncivilised' against me and my administrative associates from the DMK and other supporting parties and also made unwarranted allegations against an entire group of tagged representatives from Tamil Nadu, which in turn reflects the people of Tamil Nadu.

Education minister's statements have entered massive review

The education minister's statements have entered massive review from the DMK leaders, who burnt and beat his effigy in Tamil Nadu, expressing their outrage. Also, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin also criticised him who suggested him to" control his language"." Union Minister Dharmendhra Pradhan who thinks himself as king speaking with arrogance should have control over his lingo," Stalin said.

During Question Hour, Pradhan indicted the DMK- led Tamil Nadu government of originally agreeing to apply the PM seminaries for Rising India( PM SHRI) scheme but latterly reneging on its commitment. His reflections sparked a kick by the DMK, leading to the adjournment of proceedings in the Lower House of Parliament.
