Incident Details

The couple visited the court to formalize their marriage but faced hostility when some lawyers discovered the man's religious identity. Accusing him of "love jihad," they allegedly assaulted him inside a lawyer’s chamber. The woman was also harassed during the altercation.

Police Response

Local police intervened promptly to rescue the couple from further harm. They were taken to safety after being roughed up by an angry crowd.
