Karnataka News: In a shocking incident in Udupi, Karnataka, Prajwal Shetty, the son of Congress leader Deviprasad Shetty, was arrested on November 13 for allegedly running over a 39-year-old man, Mohammad Hussain, in a hit-and-run accident.
Fatal Crash: The Hit-and-Run Incident
According to the police, Shetty, driving an SUV, collided with Hussain’s bike and then fled the scene immediately after the crash. Despite being rushed to the hospital by bystanders, Hussain succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. Police investigations confirmed that the SUV belonged to Prajwal Shetty, who was subsequently arrested on charges related to the deadly hit-and-run incident. Further investigations into the case are still ongoing.

The accident occurred near the Kengeri TTMC on Mysuru Road, a major traffic hub.

The driver of the luxury car, identified as Dhanush, was arrested after a dramatic confrontation with bystanders who detained him at the scene. Police have charged him with multiple offenses, including rash driving, endangering life, and culpable homicide not amounting to murder. The case is currently under investigation.
