Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Maulana Arshad Madani won't be present in this conference due to health issues. Nevertheless, other Jamiat officials will read his message. Not only this, there has been a plan prepared to protest against the Waqf Act on an ongoing basis. Indeed, on 26 April, there will be a Waqf rescue conference by Muslim organizations in Calcutta. Muslim organizations will meet in Maharashtra after this, on 27 April. On April 30, efforts are being initiated to arrange for a Batti Gul program in the entire country, whereby the entire Muslims of the country will switch off the lights of their houses at 9 pm.

Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind conference to be held in Delhi

On May 1, Muslim organizations will reach Jamshedpur to take this movement ahead. The executive session of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind was summoned on May 3 and 4 in Deoband, but the decision will be modified and it will now be conducted in Delhi. Protests on any road can contribute to worsening of law

At the same time, Arshad Madani has appealed to Muslims to protest that they have to stay in what way to convey their point to the government and get this act back. He had remarked that the circumstances in the country are not conducive to holding street protests. Protests on any road can contribute to worsening of law and order situation and can prove to be counterproductive in the present scenario of the nation. We do not believe in agitating on the roads on any issue. It is not good for Muslims. Our struggle is against the government and we have always followed the legal route to oppose such decisions.
