India strongly rebutted Pakistan's comments on J&K United Nation meeting calling ' Global epicentre of terrorism'. New Delhi;s permanent representatives to the the UN, Parvathaneni Harish, dismissed Pakistan's claims, asserting that Islamabad harbors over 20UN- designated terrorist entities and continuous to sponsor  cross- border terroriosm.

 What did Pakistan say at the UN?

Pakistan’s Minister for Human Rights, Azam Nazeer Tarar, claimed at the United Nations that human rights violations were taking place in Kashmir and needed to be stopped. He alleged that the right to self-determination was being continuously denied to the people. In response, India highlighted the progress and development in Kashmir and reiterated its sovereignty over the region.

Pakistan should focus on its own house, India’s stern response

The Indian diplomat emphasized that Pakistan should focus on providing real governance and justice to its people. Pakistan is a global epicentre of terrorism, harboring more than 20 UN-listed terrorist entities and providing  support to cross- border terrorism.

What did S. Jaishankar say?

On Monday, while addressing the United Nations, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar stated that India has always played an active role in promoting and protecting human rights globally while taking a firm and uncompromising approach in tackling terrorism.
