According to the information received, an illegal madrasa was operating in Panna's BD Colony for the last 30 years. Many notices were issued continuously in the last few years, but the madrasa operators did not follow them. Recently, after the Waqf Amendment Bill was passed, a notice of strict action was sent. Bulldozer action under New Waqf Amendment Act

On this matter, the madrasa operator claimed that he had received permission from the local Gram Panchayat from the very beginning. The operator said that this area comes under the Municipal Corporation, so the construction has been considered illegal. He said that this matter was going on in the court for the last several years, but after the change in the laws recently, the officials had sent a notice, after which action has been taken.
