Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has been vocal in his criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and policies. In a recent statement, he accused PM Modi of attempting to alter the Indian Constitution and undermining the nation's democratic framework. He emphasized that the Congress party, under leaders like Rahul Gandhi, is committed to safeguarding the Constitution and countering such efforts.

Political maneuvers

Furthermore, CM Reddy has highlighted the perceived neglect of southern states by the Modi government. He pointed out that while southern states contribute significantly to the nation's revenue, they receive disproportionately less in return. He also criticized the central government's focus on political maneuvers, such as engineering defections, rather than addressing developmental issues.

Modi Parivar

In his public addresses, CM Reddy has urged minority communities to carefully consider their political choices, contrasting the divisive politics he associates with the "Modi Parivar" against the inclusive approach of the "Gandhi Parivar." He cautioned that supporting the former could jeopardize key reservations and policies beneficial to minorities.

Constitutional values

These statements reflect CM Revanth Reddy's ongoing efforts to position the Congress party as a defender of constitutional values and an advocate for equitable development across all regions and communities in India.
