Madhya Pradesh is gearing up for its biennial Global Investors Summit (GIS) scheduled for February 24-25, 2025, in Bhopal. The state has been actively engaging with potential investors through a series of pre-summit events and policy initiatives to attract substantial investments across various sectors.
Pre-Summit Initiatives
Interactive Sessions: The state government has organized multiple interactive sessions in cities like Mumbai, Coimbatore, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. Notably, the Kolkata summit in September 2024 garnered investment proposals worth approximately ₹20,000 crore, with expectations to create over 9,450 jobs in sectors such as food processing, chemicals, cement, steel, plastic, and renewable energy.
International Outreach: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has been proactive in attracting foreign investments.
