Delhi CM selection: BJP assigns Ravi Shankar Prasad, OP Dhankar as central observers

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) on Wednesday, February 19, named National Secretary Om Prakash Dhankar and former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad as its central observers to oversee the selection of Delhi's next Chief Minster.As per reports, the legislature party is likely to meet in the evening to elect its leader, following discussions at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence.

With BJP returning to power in Delhi after 27 years, the mix of first-time and experienced MLAs presents a broad field of contenders for the top post. there have been no recent announcements regarding the appointment of Ravi Shankar Prasad and O.P. Dhankar as central observers by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) concerning Delhi's Chief Ministerial matters.
