Bloodshed at work: Bengal govt employee’s violent outburst stuns Kolkata

A middle aged man who is a West Bengal government employee posted at the Karigori Bhawan in Kolkata. In a fit of rage he stabbed four of his colleagues  , said the police.

Kolkata: The alleged killer is identified as Amit Sarkar, he brutally killed his colleagues because they made fun of his father. The police informed that this horrifying incident took place nearly around 12.30 in the noon.

The traffic police intervened 

 The injured have been identified as Shiekh Shatabul, Shantanu Saha, Sarta Let and Joydev Chakraborty. Amit Sarkar let go of that sharp knife only after the traffic police "repeatedly requested" him to throw the dangerous weapon and then he got arrested.

Sources in the Techno City police told that all four people were admitted to a nearest private hospital. From them two of the colleagues were in critical condition. Police said that after the arrest of Amit he had cooled down but he attacked those four due the jokes which were made by them about his father. 'We are veryfying the cause of the incident" and an FIR had been filed against Sarkar said the police.
