October 16, 2024: An IndiGo flight traveling from Mumbai to Delhi was diverted to Ahmedabad after an unidentified individual claimed, via a tweet, that a bomb was on board. The aircraft, carrying nearly 200 passengers and crew, underwent thorough security checks upon landing. No suspicious items were found, and the threat was declared a hoax.
October 26, 2024: A bomb threat was reported for a SpiceJet flight between Kandla and Mumbai. Authorities conducted a detailed search of the aircraft, passengers, and luggage at Kandla Airport. No explosive materials were discovered, and the threat was deemed a hoax.
October 28, 2024: Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad heightened security protocols following non-specific bomb threats targeting multiple flights. Several IndiGo flights were affected, including 6E 414 from Jodhpur to Pune, which made an emergency landing in Ahmedabad. All threats were later declared hoaxes.
