Russia's military: Can Europe defend itself against Putin's aggression?

In the midst of the Russia-Ukraine war, the world is now shocked by another big plan of Putin. The head of Germany's army has warned that Russia could launch a major attack on Europe by 2029. It is being told that Putin is raising an army of 3 million soldiers. Its purpose is to weaken NATO and occupy Europe.

The whole world wants the bloody conflict to end in some way on the Russia-Ukraine war. US President Donald Trump is also trying to negotiate between Putin and Zelensky for a ceasefire. At the same time, Europe has demanded strict action against Russia many times. But now another major threat has arisen at Europe's doorstep. A top German military officer has warned that Russia could launch a major attack on all of Europe by 2029 and Putin is already preparing for it.

Russia's army will reach 30 million in the coming year

German Army Inspector General Carsten Breuer has said that Vladimir Putin will be able to launch a large-scale attack on NATO countries by 2029. He claimed that the strength of Russia's army will reach 30 million in the coming year. The numbers are indicative of preparations for a major European military operation, not to defeat warring Ukraine. Breuer warned that Putin wants to weaken and dismantle the NATO alliance.

Record recruitment in the Russian army

Russia is currently running the largest military recruitment campaign. Last week alone, 1.60 lakh youths were forcibly recruited into the Army, the highest number since 2011. This step is not only to compensate for the loss of soldiers in the Ukraine war, but also to prepare for another major war in the future. Together, Breuer said, this poses a direct and major threat to Europe.

Russia's weapons stockpiles are also being rapidly replenished

Russia is not only increasing human resources, but also military hardware at double speed. About 1,500 tanks are being built every year, or even older ones are being taken out of warehouses and re-combat-ready, Breuer said. At the same time, Russia's weapons stockpiles are also being rapidly replenished. This is a clear indication that the Kremlin does not want to limit its war policy to Ukraine alone.

All alerts from Germany to France

Keeping these warnings in mind, Europe has also stepped up its defense preparedness. Germany recently announced it would permanently deploy 5,000 troops to Lithuania for the first time since World War II. France has released a 20-page guidebook for its citizens, giving tips on how to survive wartime. This includes suggestions on joining the reserve forces, keeping emergency kits ready and contributing to civil defence.

Many countries have formed a joint security line

The Baltic countries of Latvia, Lithuania and Croatia have decided to set up a joint security line on their border with Russia. It will be equipped with 600 bunkers, anti-tank trenches, forest barriers, dragon teeth and rocket systems. Poland and the Baltic states have withdrawn from the international treaty on anti-personnel mines so that they can use every weapon to stop the Russian army if needed.

Putin's plan is no longer limited to a limited military campaign

Many countries in Europe are now considering the policy of forced military conscription. In Britain too, the debate in this direction is intensifying. Looking at this aggressive strategy of Russia, it is feared that if Europe is not ready in time, then by 2029 the situation can turn towards a world war. Putin's plan is no longer limited to a limited military campaign, but it points to taking hold of all of Europe.
