An American guy has ignited a huge controversy with his vile bashing of Indian food on social media. X user Hunter Ash didn't mince words in his recent rant. Apart from lumping the different state cuisines of India into one category of "Indian food," he also called it "subcontinental pound-of-spice slop" - words that attracted accusations of racism.

In his X post, Ash stated that enjoying Indian food is a sign of "PMC striverism," satirizing the aspirational behavior of the Professional-Managerial Class. He further stated that Indian food was lacking compared to other nations such as Korea and Japan. I am a fan of Indian food and do not believe that I must negatively polarise against it simply because mass Indian migration is dangerous," a user posted, alluding to heightened anti-immigration emotions.
