New Delhi: The wait is nearly over as The Great Indian Kapil Show returns for its highly anticipated second season. Netflix India dropped an exciting new trailer on Saturday, offering fans a glimpse of the star-studded guest lineup, which includes popular film personalities like Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Jr NTR, as well as the T20 World Cup champions and the cast of The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.
A glimpse into the trailer
Judging by the trailer, viewers can expect double the fun this season. Alia Bhatt is seen engaging in a playful game of dumb charades with Karan Johar, while the fan-favorite character Dafli, portrayed by Sunil Grover, humorously asks if Alia is indeed the "famous Alia Bhatt." Alia, not missing a beat, teases back, introducing herself as "Alia Bhatt Kapoor."
In another lighthearted moment, host Kapil Sharma playfully asks cricketer Rohit Sharma if their show acted as a lucky charm for the Indian team. Rohit appeared during the last season when they had narrowly missed the World Cup victory, but this time they return as T20 champions. Another fun segment features the Devara: Part 1 cast engaging in a lively game, while Janhvi Kapoor dances to Chuttamalle on stage.
