Nikhil Nanda, son-in-law of Amitabh Bachchan, faces fraud, suicide abetment allegations| Here's Why

As of February 17, 2025, there are no credible reports or news articles indicating that Nikhil Nanda, son-in-law of Amitabh Bachchan, has been accused of fraud or abetment to suicide. The most recent information available pertains to a 2013 incident where Nikhil Nanda's email was hacked by a UK-based gang, leading to fraudulent activities. 

Information Technology Act

In August 2013, Nikhil Nanda, the joint managing director of Escorts Group, reported that cybercriminals had gained unauthorized access to his email account. The hackers used phishing tactics to obtain his email credentials and subsequently sent emails to his contacts, requesting £2,000 for a cousin's surgery in Manchester. The crime branch registered a case under sections of fraud, cheating, and the Information Technology Act, with the perpetrators believed to be based in Manchester. 

Chairman and Managing Director 

There have been no subsequent reports or legal proceedings involving Nikhil Nanda related to fraud or abetment to suicide. It's important to verify the credibility of news sources and ensure that information is up-to-date.A case was registered against the accused based on a court order. The case names Nikhil Nanda, the company’s Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), along with the firm’s Uttar Pradesh head, area manager, sales manager, a dealer from Shahjahanpur, and three other officials.Nanda is yet to issue an official statement on the matter. The Bachchans and Kapoors too have remained tightlipped on the incident.

The complaint stated Jitendra previously ran a tractor agency named Jai Kisan Traders in Dataganj, Budaun, along with his business partner Lalla Babu. The latter was imprisoned due to a family dispute and Jitendra was left to manage the agency alone and that is when Nanda and his company Escorts Kubota came into the picture.
