Coldplay concludes India tour: We'll never forget these two weeks
The band commenced their India tour in Mumbai on January 18 and performed three shows there before heading to Ahmedabad for two more concerts on January 25 and January 26.
New Delhi: After their stellar concerts in Mumbai and Ahmedabad, British band Coldplay wrapped up their Music Of The Spheres India tour. They held their final and biggest-ever concert in Ahmedabad on January 26, and it was also livestreamed on Disney+ Hotstar, allowing fans to experience Chris Martin and other band members’ spectacular performances. As the India tour concluded, Coldplay penned a heartfelt note, in which they wrote that they had an unforgettable two weeks in India.

Signing off after the phenomenal India tour, Coldplay shared a post on X (previously Twitter), reflecting on the two weeks they spent in India. Hours after their final concert in Ahmedabad, they shared a picture of the packed stadium lit up with dazzling lights and spectacular fireworks. They wrote, “Thank you Ahmedabad, thank you India. We’ll never forget these two weeks. Your love and kindness will stay with us forever (sic)," with a heart emoji. Check out their post below!
Over 1.34 Lakh People attended Musical Concert
Coldplay held five concerts in India as part of the Music Of The Spheres World Tour. They concluded the India tour in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, and it reportedly became the most attended musical concert in Asia, with over 1.34 lakh people grooving together.
The Band kicked off the India Tour in Mumbai
Last night, Chris Martin left Indian fans awestruck after he delivered his rendition of Vande Mataram on the occasion of Republic Day. He was also seen speaking to the crowd in Hindi, and Gujarati. Apart from this, Chris Martin also invited a couple to join him on stage and perform ‘Everglow’ with him.

Coldplay kicked off the India tour in Mumbai on January 18. The band performed at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18, 19 and 21, followed by concerts in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and 26. Apart from Chris Martin the band also consists of guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, drummer percussionist Will Champion, and manager Phil Harvey.
