However, Sonu lost his cool when some atendees stood up in middle of the performance. Then video of Nigam losing his cool got viral on social media.
Sonu Nigam's angry statement
"Agar tum ko khada hona hi hain, election mein khade ho jaao yaar! Please bithao. Jaldi karo… itna time jaa raha hain mera maalum hain? Apka cut off time aa jayga phir, baithao! Jaldi baitho! Baitho! Bahar niklo! Make this space empty (If you really want to stand, go stand in an election! Please sit down. My time is getting cut, go sit. Sit fast, get out,) Sonu Nigam was being heard saying in one of the viral videos.
Fans rally behind Sonu, blame poor concert management
Several fans took to social media to defend the singer, pointing fingers at the concert’s mismanagement. Many compared the situation to the tragic demise of singer KK, who suffered a fatal cardiac arrest during a poorly managed concert at Nazrul Mancha in June 2022."It was so disgusting that due to poor management by organisers, Sonu Sir had to intervene himself. So shameful," one user commented.
"He had to do it himself because he knows what happened to KK due to this type of management & security... Everyone will have to do this here and everywhere while running the show for self-security," wrote another.
Netizens Slam Sonu Nigam for 'arrogance'
However, not everyone was on Nigam’s side. Some social media users criticized his reaction, calling him ‘arrogant’ for losing his temper in front of a live audience.

This incident comes just days after Sonu Nigam revealed he had suffered a severe back spasm during a live performance. Recounting the ordeal, he said, "It was excruciating, excruciating pain. It felt like a needle was stuck in my spine. I’d move a little, and it felt as if the needle would dig deeper into my spine."
