Chief Minister’s Office said that the Cabinet gave the nod to bring the Punjab Regulation of Fee of Un-aided Educational Institutions (Amendment) Bill, 2026, for regulation of unnecessary and unreasonable increases in fees.
While talking to reporters, Keshav Prasad Maurya said, "It is true that terror strikes, be it in India or across the world, are a result of madrasa education."
